The construction of a big Mosque in Uppsala is in huge CRISIS. The official deadline for completion of the Mosque is September 2025. If it is not completed by this time, the authority is likely to demolish the ongoing construction and sell the property.Our invested 2,8 million pounds are then just gone. The Mosque is now built in the city of Uppsala where the Holy Quran was burnt in 2022.
| BACKGROUND The land of 3450 square meters was bought from the Uppsala Municipality. The building planning, after all judicial and court proceedings, was finally approved on 1 October 2020. 85% of the work including basement, ground and first floor, is done. Roof setting and interior works are now going on to finish the project. Once completed, 1500 people will be able to pray at a time. |
